Green Chickpea Curry

Ingredients: 

2 cups shelled green chickpeas

2 Tlbs olive oil

1 Tlbs cumin seed

1 Tlbs tumeric powder

1 Tlbs Garam Masala

1 tsp Celtic sea salt 

1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper

2Tlbs butter

1/2 cup chopped green onion

1/2 cup cilantro leaves chopped

1/2 Tlbs coriander seeds.

1 can coconut milk

Putting it all together

Place oil in a pan heat to medium high, add cumin seed, coriander seeds and toast.

When seeds have toasted add the butter and the rest of spices including salt and pepper. Heat through and fold in your green chickpeas. Coat the chickpeas with the spices. Add coconut milk and stir thoroughly. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5min with lid covering pan. Remove lid and fold in green onion and cilantro leaves. Cook for 2 min without lid reduce liquid to your desired consistency.

Serve with bread or over rice.
